Cardiff Couple, These cabins are located in such a quiet location. The surroundings are beautiful and the atmosphere is really peaceful. The two resident dogs wilf and win are adorable and we’re welcomed visitors each morning. These cabins are a perfect retreat for those looking for a relaxing time away. I feel thoroughly recharged.

Selby Couple, Absolutely beautiful!!! We booked the chestnut lodge for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. The lodge was so clean and had everything we needed, the little reading nook was a lovely touch. Ross was very welcoming and so were the two very friendly dogs. Would definitely recommend and will visit again :)

Bath Couple, From the start we were met by the family member who showed us into our lodge, the place was immaculately clean. Very peaceful site.The hot tub is a defo winner.We had to leave a bit earlier due to family stuff,but we will defo be booking again soon,next time for a bit longer,.Thank you to everyone at Avallon lodges we had a special time.

Upminster Couple, The lodges offer peace and tranquility. Very comfortable lodge. Felt that the lighting couldve been improved in the lodge and some form of light in car park. Fairly well equipped but couldve done with an ovenglove and botle opener in particular. Ross was accommodating to our emails before and during earlier part of our stay. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Birmingham Couple, Great little get away but was slightly disappointed in the lack of hot tub for our lodge. As when we booked the photos clearly showed hot tubs outside of the lodge. It isn't until you look at the small print that you see that only a couple of the lodges actually have them, alittle misleading :/ Also although the welcome pack was lovely was again disappointed with lack of basic facilities, we stayed for 3 nights and were only provided with 1 toilet roll and minimal tea/coffee. And had to buy our own milk, You get better in hotels. Oil, foil ect were non existant and you would need to bring your own if you want to actually use the cooking facilities provided. The place itself was lovely and the views and walks were incredible, even had the pleasure of a guides walk to the lake by the farms two dogs. Which did make out holiday. Definetly worth saying hello to them if they're around. But they were the only farm 'staff' we actually saw the whole weekend.

Bournemouth Couple, Great cabin for a chill out week. Don’t go here if you want to be near facilities. Local pub was closed down. Great location to explore north Cornwall coast. Set on a farm so loads of space and walks. Very relaxed atmosphere but we did have a constant stream of flies in the cabin which we couldn’t seem to get rid off. Put us off keeping windows and doors open.

North Yorkshire Family (the eldest child is at school), Beautiful location. Great base for exploring the area. The owner was really welcoming and it was lovely to have the animals around. Could just have done with some more storage space for clothes.

Hertfordshire Family (the eldest child is at school), Great place to stay, tranquil and calm. Owners cats and dogs come to visit every day and as we have animals we didnt mind. Single mattresses could do with toppers or updating but we expect that as most places suffer the dreaded mattress wear. Double mattress comfy. Clean and tidy but could do with the following.... a baking tray for the oven and somewhere to wash laundry or at the very least an area with a line to hang wet towels, as you will probably visit a beach, shower and use the hot tub, it would be good to be able to dry the towels. Well worth a stay here, lovely little set up.

Berkshire Couple, Amazing, peaceful week holiday. Lovely quiet site. Farm dog wilf made our stay popping in to say hello and for a tummy rub. Hot tub fantastic. Fishing lake lovely and caught some nice carp and roach.
The lodges very comfortable, wooden from Norway. Nice furniture, flat TV, DVDs, books. Very clean. Nice bathroom with shower and all day long hot water. Nice outside, tidy, well kept. Garden furniture. Paradise for dogs too. Maria, Norwich, Norfolk Couple

Lovely place, very quiet and peaceful, beautiful countryside. The lodge was for 2 people, quite simple but sufficient for our needs. Everything we needed was there. The hot tub was wonderful, under a starry sky at night, what could be better. The bed was comfy, had a good night's sleep. The owner was very helpful and on site if we needed anything.

Price was worth it for the hot tub alone. Sitting in that watching the sun go down as brilliant. The lodge was a perfect size for us and had everything we needed in place.
